Season Review
I would like to thank all players and parents for giving me so much pleasure over the last 5 years. I can’t explain how good it has been and how hard it is to give it up. Being a football manager is the best job in the world. The behaviour of all players and parents is what’s made it so special.
Last season saw us win the Sportsmanship of the Year award for the Rowsley League. I hope the discipline stays the same for years to come.
The team now know their jobs on the pitch and how to do them. They have the potential to beat any team in the league.
I would like to thank Danny for all the hard work over the last 5 years. All his work has been voluntary as has ours. Danny has passed on his skills to produce a winning side.
Finally, I would like to thank Alfreton Town Juniors, all the committee members and managers for electing me as chairman, another role I have loved. I hope I have done some good for the club and hope it will go from strength to strength.
Thanks to Franner and Jeff for teaching me so much, they are a major asset to the club.
